GOOGLE CELEBRATES ART COLKEY’S 90TH BIRTHDAY

Sticking to its tradition for celebrating important events and remembering pioneers and important personalities. In honor of his contribution to clay animation, Google has a new doodle on itshomepage celebrating Art Cokley’s 90th birthday with a fun Gumby doodle.

Pakistan's governor escapes missile attack

Militants fired two missiles at a rally led by the governor of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, killing one person and wounding four, but the governor was not hurt, security officials said.

Governor Masood Kasur was to address ethnic Pashtun tribal leaders when the rally was attacked in Kalaya, a town in the Orakzai region, the officials said.
"The governor was receiving a briefing before the start of the function when the rockets struck. He is safe," senior government official Fazal Qadir told Reuters.
"One rocket fell near the helipad while the other landed inside the ground where the rally was being held."
Orakzai is one of the seven agencies of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas in the northwest. All but Orakzai shares a border with Afghanistan.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack but Pakistani Taliban, who have been fighting to topple the U.S.-backed government for years, operate in the area.......Read More

Schedule : West Indies tour of Bangladesh : October 2011.

Terming it "revenge" wouldn't be usual but it'll be nothing less than that when West Indies tour Bangladesh this October 2011..

Couple of years ago, when West Indies had first fallen into Board vs Players problem, they had fielded a second grade team against touring Bangladesh and lost both the test matches which was Bangladesh's first ever overseas test series victory and then all the three one day internationals.

Darren Sammy was the rookie captain at that time but now, he's been two team old into his perstigious job. Now, the question is can Windies take their revenge in Bangla's backyard? they should. Board vs players problem persists but Windies did well in two series at home against Pakistan and India earlier this year and several of their players now have the experience. West Indies still are more talented team than Bangladesh but home team will calculate their chances too.

West Indies begin Bangladesh tour with couple of warm-up matches coming from t20 series in England before the only twenty20 which will be played on 11th October. First three one day international will also be played at Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur before caravan moves to Zahur Ahmed Chowdhary stadium in Chittagong where last one day as well as the first test match will be played, starting on 21st October.

Second test match will be on either side of October and November, back at Mirpur.

Sachin Tendulkar is not less famous. nor are Andrew Symonds' shoulders less broad. Michael Clarke is as chocolaty as it gets and my blog welcomes one female fan of Rahul Dravid every day..

Yet, not many high profiles ladies have been attached to International cricket players. Not too many affairs to mention and most of them are not juicy. Only Mahendra Singh Dhoni of India with Jacques Kallis of South Africa have held the fort high. Now if you understand cricket, have a favourite cricketer in mind, scroll down. I may have the information of his one time girlfriends or the girl he eventually is happily married with.

MS Dhoni : 1st Milk, then ramp walk with model Deepika Padukone (left picture) & then a "lady in yellow" kissing Maahi outside Eden Gardens. rumous will come & go, but truth is, we don't know as yet. You all female fans of Mahendra Singh Dhoni can give it a try. he's available as of now..
Yuvraj Singh : was close to Team India captainship. and to Bollywood girl Kim sharma. Both are very much off as we speak, as Indian middle order bat looks to touch his onfield potential.

Shane Warne : a real lady lover in his own sense. Was happily married to Simone, then caught flirting, then patch up and then finally divorce. Warne has quit International cricket now, so I guess less people will be reading this paragraph.
Rahul Dravid : has a little longer story. MTV has punk'd program here in India called Bakra. Hosted by Cyrus Brocha. One fine day, Indian captain was engaged in a fake studio interview with one by one every single person leaving from the room. Just Dravid & an unknown girl remained in the studio. Next ~ girl starts to plead her love for the cricketer. She touches him, cries, calls her father but above all ~ she speaks volumes on her love for him. Dravid - confused. Camera - on.. The show did finish in the end with a happy note, as did Dravid by marrying Nagpur girl Vijeta.
Jacques Kallis : has an eye for ladies ~ goes for the beauty peagent winners only. Latest known is Cindy Nel (former miss South Africa, in blue dress girl in picture).
Graeme Smith : She is called Minki Van der Westhuizan. Reports say Smith and his girlfriend has been together since King Edward School days. If that's true, nicknamed "biff" actually is pretty soft at heart. 
Kevin Pietersen : Find Jessica Taylor of Liberty X music group. Ever since Pietersen has moved to England, has started playing International cricket - this genuinely sexy girl is with him. I hear they are even engaged now.
Virendra Sehwag : I thought only we cricket guys like this man. But to confirm, Viru is very happily married to his childhood sweet heart Arti. He used to ping her in school days, now takes care of her.
Mkhaya Ntini : is the most popular sports idol in south Africa. In female fan ship - not much. South African opening bowler is a lady called "Thandiwe" and their son is called "Thando".
Harbhajan Singh : is looking for one who can take care of home & her Indian spinning husband as well.. you interested my dear female readers??
Sourav Ganguly : Had huge rumours of moving around with Bollywood actress Nagma. But but that's way long past now. Sourav Ganguly and Donna have named their daughter as Sana and man seems to be hungry for nothing but runs.
